I want to promote the idea of the festival goer becoming the face of their favourite festival. They become the performer. They are the main image of the festival.
 
What the audience have to do is sign into the ‘BBC festivals live’ app, and send in a short video of themselves and their friends at the festival. If the video is good enough it will go onto a big screen at the stage they’re at, they will also get put into a draw to win 5 backstage passes for next years event.
 
I plan a two-tier approach to advertising the app. Firstly, to reach the target market directly, I will advertise on bus stop screens near to univeristies and schools,  as they are highly visable and eye catching.  Also, as this is BBC initiative, I will the advantage of advertising my app on TV, which will obviously reach a mass auidence.
